Not everyone needs the complete functionality of a thermostat on a daily basis. So with LAUDA Proline, you can decide how much thermostat you really need. Both versions offer the full Proline performance - whereas the Master doesn't have the extensive programming and information functions, Command offers the complete programme. And the special attraction: who wishes to upgrade to the Command version from the Master version at a later date, can do this. Thus, LAUDA offers the first line of thermostats that grows with your tasks.
Operate the thermostat from a safe distance - Command now is also operable as a remote control. The console of the control head sits comfortably in the hand and offers a high degree of user comfort. All data is shown on the large display - thus, optimum control from a distance of up to 50 metres is possible.
LAUDA Proline thermostats are fitted with the unique LAUDA Varioflex pump. This high-performance pressure/suction pump can be set to eight different levels to match the current performance requirements, and always enables optimum bath circulation. For devices with deep baths, a Varioflex pump is used as a pressure pump to enable circulation, though in a more powerful version. As a centrifugal pump, the Varioflex pump always offers the right amount of performance, regardless of whether open or closed external circuits are being thermostated. Here, it's not just the performance that is extremely high, but also the energy efficiency, hence the energy input into the bath remains low. Finally, a commuted external electro rotor-motor and the rotational decoupling, means it is almost wear and noise free.
The integrated bypass makes the complicated connection of a pump short circuit unnecessary, and improves the bath circulation.
The bypass can be comfortably reached and adjusted with a screwdriver. LAUDA Proline thermostats are fitted with rear and lateral pump connections as standard, for simple connection of external circulation systems. This allows up to two external consumers to be connected simultaneously. For thermostating open tanks, a reverse flow protection can be fitted.
LAUDA Proline thermostats offer you an energy-efficient digital cooling management system that is unique in its class. The intelligent cooling control operates every mode of operation with the correct cooling performance. It increases or reduces the cooling, in accordance with the status of the current operating requirements. This saves up to 75 % of expensive electrical energy and additionally eases the load to your air conditioning unit: In this way, even in summer you keep a cool head.
Optimum control of the Proline SmartCool System, naturally with automatic compressor control, enables perfect adjustment of the cooling in all modes of operation: This brings more cooling performance and lower temperatures. The advantages of the SmartCool System support with high efficiency programmer operation and automatic temperature changes. The especially high-performance Proline thermostats have a controlled ventilator. This effectively reduces noise production.
A cooling coil for cooling with cold water or brine is already included as standard with heating thermostats. The connections for cooling coil and pump differ so clearly that it is impossible for them to be mistaken for one another - an additional plus for your safety. Alternate to mains water cooling, a LAUDA through-flow cooler can be connected. Reverse flow protection can be connected for thermostating of open baths.
Any thermostat is only as good as its energy reserves. The Proline PowerAdapt System makes new forces available: the maximum possible heater output that the mains network permits is used. With that, heater outputs up to 3.5 kW are now possible, giving quicker heating and optimum performance. Nevertheless, the special patented LAUDA heating control, minimises the feedback to the laboratory voltage network to good effect, and with that, exceeds the latest legal regulations. Yet another investment in the future.
For safety, the Varioflex pump of the LAUDA Proline plays a decisive role. It begins with the material. The LAUDA Varioflex pump is manufactured from a high-tech high-temperature plastic, and is extremely heat-resistant. An additional plus for safety when operating continuously at high temperatures. The second highlight is the conception of the pump motor, which is fitted with modern motor-management. In this way, the pump works with an electrical overload protector and, through continuous analysis of the operational status, also as a low-level protection. Thermostating cannot be any safer.
The low-level protection of the LAUDA Proline is now doubly safe no less. Firstly through the monitoring of the motor rpm: If the pump is running without load, then it is automatically shut down and an alarm is triggered. The second level of safety is carried out via a float. This also records the level and transmits it to the controller. For low level, but just as important for over level, the thermostat recognizes the fault.
A simple 3-key operation enables easy operation of the Proline Master version. An LED display shows the temperature settings or alarms in clear text. For those who like it even more comfortable, they can use the Command version. A large graphical LCD display with intuitive menu guidance and pop-up menus via the cursor keys and softkeys leave no wish unfulfilled.
When working in a temperature range below -50 °C, the cover plates for the cooling thermostat are heated. This avoids condensation from atmospheric moisture, even at such low temperatures. The complete control head can be detached in no time at all thus simplifying cleaning and servicing.
All cooling units of the Proline series are fitted with castors and carrying handles. Maneuvering, lifting and relocating become child's play.
A drain tap enables easy emptying of the bath liquid. For the cooling devices it is hidden at the front behind the grille, and at the rear for heating thermostats. Only applicable to cooling devices: the grille is easy to open and close and can be completely removed. This is especially useful when cleaning the condenser.
The modified PID cascade connection of the Proline enables compliance with the desired temperature in the reactor. Together with proven safety functions, such as supply/return external containment or maximum/minimum value containment for instance, complex control tasks can also be reliably solved.
