The right device for measurement: LAUDA calibration circulators
The most important prerequisite for calibration is very high temperature stability. Circulators with bath liquids are the most precise devices for this application as they allow especially good temperature stability and homogeneity. Liquid bulb circulators are superior to incubators and metal block circulators, since liquids transfer heat between 40 and 60 times better than air.

A special technical feature of all LAUDA calibration circulators is the overflow principle. The bath consists of two chambers. The separation into pre-chamber and circulating chamber ensures good temperature homogeneity. The pump conveys the bath liquid from the pre-chamber to the useable area that has a level-control overflow. This method ensures that the level of the bath liquid remains constant, irrespective of the temperature. Furthermore, the adjustment of the usable area can change the height of the liquid level so that the objects to be circulatored can be immersed in accordance with relevant standards and can be easily read out.

Temperature probes, temperature measuring instruments and thermometers are controlling means or measuring instruments subject to regular controls. The carrying out of these controls is generally legally regulated by national or international standards. LAUDA calibration circulators reliably supply the exact temperature reference.
